Dont see the difference

I dont see the difference between the iOS camera and hydra

Specialized

This camera app is real good. It has several camera modes, two of which I think are really great. First, the high resolution 32mp camera is not the camera for every shot. But it is amazing on landscapes and anything that isnt moving. It does take about 3 to 4 secs for every shot unless its great lighting and you hold it steady (it will do it faster). The image quality under these conditions are amazing! I dont use this camera except in situations with decent lighting and subject is relatively still. The second camera option it has that impresses my is the HDR video camera, which I must say is worth the price of the app alone. Wow, does it take great HDR video and you can really see the HDR and quality of the final video.

About the best

This is the perfect companion either on its own, Or as a pre professional shooting session. The HDR mode is by far the most accurate for jpeg files and the closest to raw outcomes. Take your iPhone shooting to the next level.

Wish I Could Get My Money Back

I cant believe I paid for something this bad. Its not even as good as some of the free apps. Dont waste your money.

Noise issues

For an app that claims to minimize low light noise, theres actually more color noise than many other low light apps Ive tried. And the color noise in the HDR mode is atrocious in the lower tones. The algorithm used for the super resolution mode also appears to result in considerable color noise. Luminosity is ok, but lots of course noise in color space. iPhone 6s Plus

Good but

I wanted a frontal camera too

Good start!

One of the better apps for people exploring the photographic potential of smartphones. Considering that shutterbugs are the most enthusiastic users, the HDR function needs a high res option. Also, the "medium" setting in HDR is actually somewhat intense. Not complaining; just looking for logical completion of a strong start.

Could be better

For the price, I would expect more control over the process. Right now, it tends to be a little bit aggressive on the HDR. There are certain times when you wanton obviously HDR photo, but then there are times where you want it less adversely HDR, and there really isnt the option to tone things down. That being said, sometimes the results are really cool. The zoom and hi res image options really do work. Sure, you need to be really still for best results, but thats to be expected.

My Favorite iPhone Camera App

Hydra is my favorite camera app outside the built in app. Whether you are using Hydra or a DSLR, to get he best results you have to hold very steady or use a tripod. No camera app is perfect including the iPhone camera app & yes, some Hydra HDR pictures dont look good, which is why I take multiple pictures with multiple apps.

I can see clearly now.

More in depth review later. I taken a few pics indoors and if the subject isnt moving very good quality with no flash in my iPad Air 2. Just took 2 pics of my car outside. While they may look the same zooming in there is a big difference. The Hydra had less pixelization than the stock iPad camera. Great product. Which I could and the pics.
