Good

I found the Lo-Light camera mode usefule. It removes the noise nicely and I dont find that with other apps. So far thats what stands out for me and enough reason to keep this app.

Great in still situations

I tried several scenarios. First off, the app is not perfect but if used properly, it does produce greater quality pictures. Just dont use when : you cant find a way to keep phone immobile, when subjects are moving. I took a shot with and without hydra of my sleeping baby and the hydra pic was great. I held the phone against the wall to prevent movement. On the other hand the results are not systematically great and if the moment for a picture is NOW I wont use hydra. I will use hydra for non moving decors and the such. Ive seen many artefacts or blurry parts due to the stitching... Still, some pictures were far better than iphone stock photos. As for lo-light, even indoors in daytime it makes a good difference. My next test will include my old 10 mp camera.

Useless

The picture from this app is not brilliant as it said. And the location is always wrong. I dont like it

Requires a steady hand

The effects are great if you can hold the iPhone steady and your subject isnt moving. You can also get some neat effects with things like falling snow. It definitely has a use but not as a regular every day shooter.

IPad mini now 25MP!

Best for landscape photography. Fantastic detail with only hand held photos. Make my 2015 IPad minis 5MP camera into a 25 MP? Very happy with this app. Thanks developers.

Average

I was really excited about this photography app. I test its functionalities and was both happy and disappointed. For all tis functionalities, I tested it against the default camera app. * Happy about the high resolution option. You do get a higher resolution picture. * Zoom is clearer with Hydra than zooming with the default camera app Disappointed: * low-light. I tried with different lighting between almost dark and somewhat light. I could’t tell the difference between Hydra and Camera app (I turned off the flash for the camera app for this test) Not sure * HDR. Maybe the way I was using it was not a good. Maybe certain conditions must be respected to give nice results. But I did not keep one single pictures that came from HDR. It was as if the contours where highly saturated and almost comic book look. I use Hisy as a remote control and it works perfectly with this app. Think I will have to give it a try in a lot more conditions and situations to learn its best use. Unfortunately it does not become my go to app for taking pictures as the default one does a pretty decent job in most situations. Note: I have an iPhone 5s

Rip off

Will not allow access to the app unless you give location and even if you do it does not work. I want my money back and am really disappointed with these developers.

very annoyed

HI Keeps crashing what a waste of money

Not iOS 9 friendly.

An interesting and very promising application. However, something is wrong since iOS 9. Images are deformed (compressed) in width. Its a bit shocking given the price.

Awesome pictures

Take some time to learn. Pictures stand out.

Each of the photo modes are excellent additions to the iPhone photographers toolbox!

Not worth the money!

All it does is create high resolution blurry/grainy images. Its a good concept but not a good app.

Software cant pass hardwares limits

Dont waste your money. Even the noise reduction is insufficient.

Location Problem

After downloading the app keeps asking for permission to access the location services. Ive enabled it a million times but I cant use the app

Amazing!

Apart from being fun to use, the camera images are greatly improved with this innovation. The scanner is really useful and works well. Well done guys!

Not very good

hdr & zoom options works good, but night photo is poor.

Piece of crap

Overpriced and not even as good as the built in IOS camera. When I compared identical lighting situation using Hydra in all its modes and then the IOS built in camera, the IOS camera was clearer, brighter and more vibrant than the Hydra version. DO NOT BUY!

Great For Zoom/32MP But Nothing Else

This app uses a wonderful algorithm of stacking photos to create noise-free clarity and then enlarges the result to allow either a 32 MP picture or a very clean 2X or 4X zoom. Although when viewed at the pixel level you can see some minor artifacts and a bit of a plasticy look, the result is still terrific. You will find it helpful to retouch your results with some clarity and/or structure tweaks as the output is somewhat soft. And of course, always shoot using the native camera app with no zoom as back up. That being said, the apps other features are worthless. Its HDR algorithm is horsey and smokey and looks horrendous. Its low light feature is soft and allows no exposure compensation. The video HDR bounces around too much with its light levels to be usable. Still, this app rates five stars because what it does do well, it does tremendously well and no other app is doing it. As such I recommend it highly.

Perfect for taking photos inside of clubs!

I have become sort of the unofficial (very) amateur photographer for local bands. Getting pics of the stage is no problem...but shots of the crowd were awful--they were all blurred and had terrible noise. Not even the so-called "night camera" apps worked. The only app that has consistently given me crisp, clear pics and noise free--most of the shots dont need any further editing! I dont know what that one reviewer is talking about...Hydra is great!

U S E L E S S!!!

This app is totally useless It doesnt actually do anything Bought it, tested it and I am soooo disappointed!!!
